Luxury Shells is a company where passion handed down from family generation to generation. I am now going to tell you how it all started:

 

The story of Luxury Shells begins in Italy and it is now at the third family generation. In the early 1960s after World War II, my father went back home and started his business idea in recovering mother pearl shells for producing craftsman bottoms being a supplier for big fashion houses. I still remember the story he was telling me about his first trips to Indonesia and Australia and the difficulties in dealing without knowing English or any languages, but thanks to his passion and a business mind he was able to scout the best partners and a unique selection of shells.

 

After some years, I took over the company and amplified the selection of products including special and luxury corals and started manufacturing accessories and object with mother pearl like pens, watches, bags, boxes and many more. The passion was the same that enabled me to increase our expertise in the field of beauty from the sea gaining the CITES Certification: all our shells and corals are sourced according to internationally recognized standards to protect wildlife against over-exploitation. We love the sea and we want to protect it! The constant monitoring of Southeast Asia enables us to have the best conditions in the acquisition and selection of raw material quality. Today the range of products is very diversified but maintains as common denominator the natural DNA and the sustainable 'environment.

 

Nowadays, we are at the third family generation and together with my children we wanted to help people in gaining access easily online to our world of sea’s gems to decorate your home, using bottoms for your hobbies or having classy accessories with premium quality materials for your personal use or as a special gift for your most loved ones.
